Grandma

Karinka was 9 years old when she asked her parents to
take her to her grandma who lived in a village. The village was on no
man's land. Nobody lived there, only the girl's grandma, because
everybody moved out. Only abandoned houses were left. Karinka couldn't
sleep in the new place at night, and when she finally fell asleep, she
had a horrible nightmare where somebody was chasing her. In the morning
she was supposed to go shopping with her grandma in a nearby town. The
length from the village to the town was 5 kilometres. After 2 kilometres
the girl didn't have the strength to walk further, so she stopped with
her grandma and they sat on the grass. They rested for a while and after
15 minutes they began walking again.
They finally arrived. Karinka's grandma told her to
wait in front of the shop. It was a very weird shop, different from the
others. Her grandma came out of it happily. The little girl didn't want
to guess what was inside the building. She just returned with the elder
to the village. They walked and walked, but this time Karinka got tired
after 3 kilometres, they waited 10 minutes and walked further. When they
finally returned home, it was 10 PM, her grandma tucked Karinka in bed,
then went downstairs to her room. Karinka quickly fell asleep after the
exhausting day. She woke up at midnight. She went downstairs because
she had to go to the toilet, and the only toilet in the house was next
to her grandma's room. The girl snooped in. She saw a weird light and
heard grandma reciting some sort of spell. She was scared a little and
quickly escaped back to her room. She thought about what her grandma was
doing. She didn't sleep at all.
In the morning, Karinka's grandma ran into her room and asked with a
frightened voice if the girl saw anything unnerving that night. The
little girl knew what her grandma was talking about and lied, saying no
and that she had slept peacefully all night. The grandma exited
Karinka's room. The next night the girl decided to spy on her grandma
all night. She came out of her room at midnight, quietly went down the
stairs and looked through the gap in the door to her grandma's room. Her
grandma was sitting on the floor and chanting some prayers next to some
candles, and a little girl was lying down in the center of the room.
Karinka shrieked out of fright. The grandma turned her head to the girl
and started chasing her. The girl locked herself in the bathroom, but
her grandma got a knife and opened the lock. Karinka begged her grandma
to not hurt her, but she said "Curiosity is the first step to hell" and
slit Karinka's throat.
